Architectural Kitchen Renovation in Randwick

This project is a perfect example of how strong architectural design becomes exceptional through precise construction. While the design direction was led by the client and their designer, our role was to bring the vision to life with accuracy, craftsmanship and a deep respect for detail.

The kitchen features custom walnut-toned joinery paired with porcelain stone benchtops and splashbacks, creating a layered, architectural finish that feels both warm and contemporary. Porcelain was selected not only for its striking appearance, but for its durability, heat resistance and low maintenance qualities, making it ideal for a high-performing kitchen environment.

Every junction, edge and alignment was carefully executed to ensure the materials worked together seamlessly. The stone wraps continuously through the cooking and preparation zones, delivering a strong visual flow and a sense of permanence that defines architectural spaces.

Brass hardware and a brushed brass tap introduce contrast and warmth, softening the darker stone and timber palette while adding a subtle layer of refinement. Fluted glass cabinetry adds texture and lightness, allowing the joinery to feel open without sacrificing storage or function. Open shelving with integrated LED lighting enhances both usability and atmosphere, highlighting the craftsmanship in the finishes.

The galley-style layout was constructed to maximise efficiency, bench space and storage within a compact footprint. Retaining the original timber flooring grounds the renovation, connecting the modern upgrade to the home’s original character and creating a balanced transition between old and new.
